VisionLINK™ adds correction capabilities to new or existing fixed and rental LED screens, allowing immediate improvement in screen appearance.
VisionLINK™
The number one problem with many installed—and some new—LED screens is that they do not contain the built-in electronics required to enable the screen to be corrected. The screen often is not very uniform even when first installed, and it just continues to get worse in appearance as it is used. And there is no built-in way to enable the screen to be corrected!
VisionLINK™ solves this problem.
An external correction processor, VisionLINK™ processes input video in real-time, adjusting it so that when displayed on the LED screen it is uniform in brightness and color, and meets the target color gamut.
VisionLINK™ can be used with almost any LED screen with a DVI (or equivalent) video input.
VisionLINK™ is easy-to-use, with multiple features to simplify operation:
- Correction can be toggled on and off by simply pushing a button on the front panel. This allows the corrected and uncorrected screen images to be easily compared.
- Correction coefficients are backed up on a removable SD card.
- Correction information can be updated—when a new module is installed, for example—using the supplied VisionLINK™ software.
- Network access can be used to access VisionLINK™ for remote support. This feature can also be physically disconnected for security.
VisionLINK™ is available in two versions: one for low resolution LED screens, and one for very high resolution screens. Both versions share the same ease of use and control software.
